TRANSPORTATION SERVICES FROM ARNPRIOR BRAESIDE MCNAB SENIORS AT HOME PROGRAM INC. For the reasonable cost of $6.00 each way, you can have personalized one-to-one pick up and drop off within Arnprior and Braeside (must be in-town). New clients receive their first ride free! The Seniors at Home provides trained, caring, compassionate, courteous drivers and will ensure you safely arrive at your destination and back home again. They offer a door-to-door service, help with groceries, bags and a walker.

SALC partners with Seniors at Home to offer ½ price transportation services to SALC programs and events using a pre-paid pass card ONLY available through the SALC.

Have a medical appointment outside Arnprior? Drivers will provide personal one-to-one assistance to you. Rates for out-of-town rides are available upon request. Specialized Wheel Chair transportation is also available. Whether you are no longer able to or comfortable driving yourself, or you just prefer the ease and security of a transportation service, give Seniors at Home a call, (613) 623-7981. “Making your life easier”

2023/24 Memberships: We are now taking renewals for the memberships covering April 2023 to March 31, 2024.
The membership fee for 2023/24:
Yearly - $40.00 + HST = $45.20
Membership entitles you to participate in organized programs or drop-in activities at any time the SALC is open. The Centre provides a place for social, educational and recreational programs.

    Program ideas?

    We welcome suggestions for new programs! Do you have an idea for a program or activity at the SALC? Are you interested in leading a program activity at the SALC? Please let us know.
    Chair Yoga, Mat Yoga, Yogalates, Pilates- Denise Weise discovered yoga in 2007, and included pilates into the mix in 2011. She received her certified pilate’s teacher training in classic mat work in 2015 along with her yoga teacher training YTT200 certificate, and has been teaching yoga and pilates since. She completed her YTT500 ( yoga) certification in December 2020, and continues to upgrade her pilates knowledge and skills through semi-private pilates work with her advanced pilates trainer. Before moving to Arnprior, Denise ran a successful studio in Whitby with her sister offering pilates and yoga to local students. Denise’s purpose in teaching is providing a safe, secure and fun environment for everyone joining her classes.
