Chair Yoga – This Program has proven to be VERY successful!! In fact we are bulging the SALC at the seams!! Therefore, we are offering the participants the opportunity to split the Chair Yoga Class by offering both a 9am and 10 am Chair Yoga Class. This will help to give the participants more room to move as well as allowing Allison to offer more time with each participant. We would like to start to offer the 9 am class on Tuesday July 16, 2019. However, we would like to know if you may be interested in moving to the 9am time slot, by giving us a call at (613) 296 1906 or by email at

Swimming – please remember that the time and date have changed for the summer to Wednesday from 2 -3 pm. Please show your Membership Card when you arrive to help us track the numbers.

SALC Newsletter - Do you have a creative bent that is eager to get out?? The SALC Newsletter is seeking volunteers to help with ideas, writing, and layout for the September/October issue. This is a great way to engage members, give our SALC voice and provide a platform for others to know what we are doing. A great way to express that creative urge!! No Vulnerable Sector Check required. Anyone interested should contact Laurel Reid at or contact the SALC.
Membership is open to seniors 55 years and over for a fee of $15/year (from October 1, 2018 to March 31, 2019) and $25 annually (from April 1, 2019 to March 31, 2020).
Membership entitles you to participate in organized programs or drop-in activities at any time that the SALC is open. The Centre provides a place for social, educational and recreational programs.
