Arnprior Regional Health Foundation Launches $800,000 “Scope for Hope” Campaign to Advance Life-Saving Endoscopy Care

Arnprior, ON – May 26, 2025– The Arnprior Regional Health Foundation is proud to announce the launch of its Scope for Hope Endoscopy Campaign, a bold initiative to raise $800,000 to modernize critical medical imaging equipment and ensure faster, more accurate diagnoses for patients across Arnprior and the Ottawa Valley.

Each year, more than 2,100 endoscopies are performed at Arnprior Regional Health (ARH) to detect and monitor serious health conditions such as colon cancer, gastrointestinal bleeding, Crohn’s disease, GERD, and other digestive illnesses. These procedures are essential to early detection and life-saving treatment, but the current equipment is aging and at risk of failing under growing demand.

The Scope for Hope Campaign will enable the purchase of:

  • A new state-of-the-art endoscopy tower with enhanced imaging,
  • A full set of updated scopes for both upper and lower procedures, and
  • Smart diagnostic software to support faster, more accurate care.

“This is a community-driven opportunity to invest in tools that empower our care team to see what matters most,” says Ben Gardiner, Executive Director of the Arnprior Regional Health Foundation. “With your support, we can reduce wait times, ease stress on families, and ensure patients continue to access high-quality diagnostics close to home.”

The Foundation invites individuals, businesses, and organizations to be part of this transformative campaign by making a one-time gift, becoming a monthly donor, or considering legacy and securities gifts. Every contribution brings ARH closer to delivering the best possible care – when every moment counts.
