April 20, 2022 –Arnprior Regional Health (ARH) has launched a recruitment campaign for five new volunteers to serve on its Board of Directors to help advance and strengthen health care locally.
“Our Board of Directors is an exceptional group of professionals with the shared desire to enhance the accessibility and quality of health care in the Arnprior and area community,” said Cathy Jordan, Board Chair, ARH Board of Directors. “The collaborative team of volunteers brings together an exceptional complement of skills and expertise, and we are very pleased to have the opportunity to further strengthen the Board of Directors.”
ARH is seeking volunteers to serve on its Board of Directors with one or more of the following areas of expertise:
The Board of Directors is responsible for the oversight of ARH and is accountable for the corporation’s mission, vision and values; strategic planning; ﬁnancial stewardship; quality of care performance monitoring; and communications with stakeholders. Board Directors typically spend a minimum of 10 hours a month preparing for and attending Board and Committee Meetings. Board Meetings take place on the third Thursday every month from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. (excluding July and August).
