The Grove 32 bed expansion project will not move forward at this time

September 18th, 2023 – The Arnprior Regional Health (ARH) Board of Directors is disappointed to share that ARH is unable to move forward with the Grove Long-Term Care Home Expansion project at this time.

Unfortunately, high inflationary and significantly higher-than-forecasted construction costs mean that the current project is not financially viable. ARH will continue to work closely and collaboratively with the Ministry of Long-Term Care and local representatives to explore available options.

“The Board remains committed to ensuring that the needs of our community are being met,” says Cathy Jordan, Board Chair. “This was a very difficult and highly involved decision, and one we did not take lightly.  We will continue to work with our partners to “create a thriving community together.”  ARH continues to make significant capital investments – like our CT Scanner project, and Human Resources Information System to support our teams and our community.
