Over $93,000 raised for the CT Scan through Jeep Lottery!
July 17, 2024 – The Arnprior Regional Health Foundation is thrilled to announce the resounding success of the 2024 Jeep Adventure Lottery, which raised an impressive $93,506.67 in support of the CT Scan Campaign!
The Grand Prize was awarded to local community member Colleen Nichols, who was excited to join in the adventure and contribute to the enhancement of local healthcare. Colleen had the choice between a brand-new 2024 Jeep Wrangler (Willys Edition), and $50,000 – she selected the cash.
“I am absolutely thrilled and VERY surprised to have won the 2024 Jeep Adventure Lottery Grand Prize,” said Colleen. “This will help put a down payment on a new home for me and my family. I’m a huge supporter of our local hospital and loved playing this fun lottery knowing that proceeds go towards bringing the first CT Scanner to our hospital.”
The Arnprior Regional Health Foundation extends heartfelt gratitude to all our partners, local businesses, and community members who made this year’s Jeep Adventure Lottery a true success. Special thanks go to Arnprior Chrysler, Rona Arnprior, Mark’s No Frills, Under My Roof, Domino’s Arnprior, and the Antrim Truck Stop for their invaluable support.
Everyone who purchased tickets has helped to ensure that residents of our community have access to life-saving diagnostic equipment right here at home. This groundbreaking addition promises to improve patient care, streamline processes, and alleviate the strain on healthcare resources in the region.
Currently, when a local patient needs a CT scan to help diagnose a health concern, their physician must refer them to Renfrew Victoria Hospital or Queensway Carleton Hospital.
The CT scanner at ARH will increase system capacity and streamline the process for many local patients, which will help expedite diagnoses and minimize the burden on healthcare professionals and emergency medical services, resulting in better patient outcomes.
