Our Foundation's History
The Arnprior Regional Health Foundation was founded in 2005 with a commitment to raise funds annually in support of the Arnprior & District Memorial Hospital, The Grove Long-Term Care Home and the Arnprior Regional Health's Community Programs’ equipment needs, staff education and facility upgrades.
How we’re helping bring care close to home
Leading-edge equipment for early screening, diagnosis and treatment
Our community support has allowed us to purchase leading-edge equipment, including:
- A digital mammogram machine that detects abnormalities more easily
- portable electrocardiogram machines that assess heart function
- defibrillators for life-saving interventions
Medical equipment is not covered by government funding and these investments in state-of-the-art technologies for the best screening, diagnostics and treatment wouldn’t be possible without the generosity of our donors.
The Come Home to Great Care Campaign reached a $4-million fundraising goal in support of the Grove redevelopment project.
Advancing best practice education for our healthcare team
Thanks to generous donations, the Foundation invests in the professional development of the Arnprior Regional Health (ARH) staff to ensure their knowledge and training follows best practices.Annually, up to $10,000 is available for professional development opportunities for staff through an application process and determined by ARH Leadership.
Our commitment to accountability
Arnprior Regional Health Foundation staff and volunteers are dedicated to ensuring that each donor dollar is used for its intended purpose and in the most cost-effective manner possible.
