Emergency Department Triage Area Renovation
At Arnprior Regional Health, we are always looking for ways to improve patient care and staff safety. That’s why, starting March 4, 2025 we’ll begin renovations to our Emergency Department triage area.
These updates were prioritized based on patient and staff feedback and made possible through funding from the Pay-for-Results (P4R) program, which helps hospitals enhance emergency department efficiency and patient care. The current triage space presents challenges with safety, ergonomics, and functionality, and this renovation will create a more secure, efficient, and welcoming environment for both patients and our care team.
Temporary Changes to Triage – What to Expect
During the two-to-three-week renovation period, triage will be temporarily relocated to Exam Room 1. If you arrive at the Emergency Department during this time:
- Ring the bell at the triage entrance, as usual
- Take a seat in Area 1, and a nurse will bring you to the temporary triage area
- Expect some minor disruptions—we appreciate your patience as we work to improve our space
We are excited about these changes and grateful for your understanding as we make this important investment in our Emergency Department.
If you have any questions, our team is happy to help. Thank you for your support.
