April 4, 2024 – On April 4th, 2024, Renfrew County and District Health Unit (RCDHU) declared a COVID-19 outbreak on Maple Resident Home Area (RHA) at the Grove Home. RCDHU has also declared a separate respiratory illness outbreak on Maple and Pine Home Areas.

There are currently no visitor restrictions. Please wear a mask while visiting Maple and Pine RHAs.

If you are visiting a resident who is currently isolated, you must wear a gown, gloves, visor or eye protection, and mask.

All visitors must adhere to the outbreak protocols posted in Home Areas.

All visitors must be asymptomatic when visiting a resident.

Outbreak Protocols

In partnership with RCDHU, The Grove has implemented the necessary outbreak protocols to protect the health and safety of residents and staff. This includes:

• Contact tracing and testing
• Isolation protocols
• Enhanced cleaning of high-touch areas
• Increased PPE measures for staff and essential caregivers
